Sally Mann is an American photographer whose works are renowned, especially those black and white photographs of human.

1. To take pictures, Sally collect things around her spontaneously, and do art for fun. As the example she used: she collect dog bones and take pictures in different angles and put them on the wall and critics think she means something.

2. She asked her child to help her as models. Some of the pictures are very hard to take although it looks normal.

3. Chemicals are also used in the photography. Some of the chemicals are hard to get. And it is a process require very careful effort. However, a little bit mistake can be make to make the photo interesting and unique.

4. Ambiguity of photography is important, if there is no certain aspect, the photos can be less interesting to be looked at.

5. Also, it is an example of the married artist having a happy life because his husband and his children can understand her and help her with her artworks. I think this is the most wonderful thing an artist can get at her age.
