1) Modernity: Believe in technology but not craft, Effel towel is one of the most famous symbol of this grand revolution and it is designed not by an architect but by an engineer.

2) The impact of the Industrial revelution: couple of most esteemed and life-changing inventors such as Wright brothers, Henry Ford, Madame Curie, Albert Enstein and Thomas Edison and so on.
3) The revolution of painting: Cubism start to appear and transform the art from the one-point perspective and realism to the beauty of abstraction; to show people the processes of seeing, not just the result and Cubism bring this concept to the extreme. The statement "This is what I see." are replaced by more creative thoughs and questionings "is it what i see?" The Cubism, the ground breaking art form, bring to the world more possibility and for the first time put on the stage the sense of abstration in the field of art.

5) Collage: another new art form based on the cubism (means gluing) ; The collage strengthen the link between Cubism and the real world, and collage give both Picasso and Braque bigger shapes to play with and the shapes are real things coming from the real world. Newspaper, fragments of paper boxes, and various different fragments of different medias serve as the means and forms of art.
